    Does anyone here have an xi5 trolling motor that's operated with the hand remote?
    If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing

    Yep, love it. But it is my first GPS motor so I cant compare to others on most aspects. I can tell you the anchor mode with the 2 GPS heads is far more accurate than the Minn Kota.

    I HAVE ONE THAT IS 12 VOLTS AND I ONLY USE THE HAND REMOTE,IN FEB I WILL HAVE HAD IT FOR 3 YEARS.I LOVE IT BUT DO WISH THEY WOULD SOON MAKE ANOTHER HAND REMOTE,THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE COMING OUT WITH A NEW ONE LATER,HOPE IT WILL BE ABLE TO HIT NUMBER AND THAT WILL BE YOUR SPEED

    Great.
    If you press a stored anchor point button on the remote, does it take off at full speed to reach the anchor point without being able to control the speed?

    I have one 24v 80lb thrust worth every penny stays right on the brush pile and able to move all around it by pressing one button if I break off and have to retie another jig boat stays put I have has zero problems wouldn't trade for any other motor

    I don't know, I have not used that feature. But I imagine you can control the speed with the cruise setting (top right button).
