Default Double jig or single under a slip cork?

Do y'all use a double jig setup or a single jig most of the time under a slip bobber? My buddy that I fish with swears that you need a double jig no matter what. Do y'all notice any difference in catch rates?

90% of the time I use a single jig. There are times when the bite is on that I will use a double rig. I catch more IMHO using the single rig.

I love a single jig with a slip bobber, it's more versatile for me. I know someone who only likes crappie rigs and minnows.

Single jig, a lot easier to work with, if casting.

I fish slip corks with single jigs only.

Another vote for a single. I get tangled too often casting doubles.

This is what I'm thinking too. Double rig seems like a pain to deal with when casting.

Trolling or jigging straight down is a different story. I've used them for that. Even did a video for the one rig I used. Here's the link

Does anyone fish a slip cork when the fish are deep?
