    Those that fish spoons for crappie do you tip them or just plain?

    Not to derail the thread but when it's cold do you hold it still or keep making it flutter and move around? I've never spooned

    I drop them down and bring them up very, very slow stopping from time to time. They seem to work well the colder the water gets the better they work?

    I change the treble hook to a single light wire hook. Less hang ups in brush piles.
