Last Trip Still Learning/pics

This has been a great year and today was another nice trip. It will be the last of the year on open water. This morning started crisp with a frost and 32 degrees. Wind was calm and made for a better day. We both had a pole with us that had a slip bobber tied on. We says what the heck they won't be shallow in Dec. but lets throw a couple cast. 60 fish later we learned again. With the water at 39 who would have thought it would be the ticket. I guess it is true you are never to old to learn. Mother nature has a change in the seasons coming so I took advantage of the day and the boat is now bedded down till Apr. In couple weeks it will start again only on the hard side. Thanks for all the more than kind words.

Thanks for all the reports and great pictures of crappie and other beautiful scenery pictures. Sure bad to see you have put up the boat till April but it would do you little good on a frozen lake. Maybe you can show us some ice fishing crappie pictures pretty soon.
