    Default Pickwick Dock Shooting?

Hey everyone! Hope y'all are having a great Thanksgiving. I was thinking of giving pickwick a try crappie fishing next week. Do the crappie relate to docks this time of year like they do other lakes? What depth do the docks need to be in? Thanks for your help!

If docks dont produce, what techniques do you suggest?

    thanks!

I think that be a good question to take to the Tenn board page

Well... I had thought about that originally, but the lake is in 3 states. And I couldn't figure out which state board it should go in. Do you put it in AL because a majority of the water is there, or TN because the dam is there, or MS because that is where I will launch my boat?

I would post it in the State forum closest to where you will end up fishing. Prolly MS, which would also be good cause it's a very active forum as well.

But having said that, you will get some good advice in this forum too. One thing I can tell you about shooting docks is, not all docks produce fish. Seems to me only one in ten (good looking docks that you would think hold fish) actually hold fish. So I wish you the best of luck, and please post pics if you do get into them.

Oh, another piece of advise, do what the locals do. You see them spider rigging, set yourself up that way too. It does not hurt to experiment with other techniques, but experiment with what others are doing first, because they've likely ran more experiments than you have!
