any one use pennzoil xlf 2 cycle outboard oil? bps has it on sale next week for a really low price and were talking under 10.00 per gal want to use it in a 96-200 merc no need to worry about any warranty but don't want to blow it up either thanks

Mike, I have been always told just to run the same oil that you started with on day one. I dont know if they would make any difference or not, it is a good price on oil. They also have a good buy on the quicksilver oil this coming sunday only. If you do come up sunday make sure you stop and say hello well be working a booth along the windows by the fish tank.

use it all the time in my 1975 johnson. never had a problem with pennzoil products.

I just bought a 2.5 gallon jug of it at Wally World fer 23.99. It was on clearance. I use it regular though regardless of the price.

Do you ran Ford motor oil in a Ford truck? Does Ford make their own oil? Does Mercury make there on oil? It has the same "spec" as the rest of them.

Never seen it be a problem. Alway something else. Like no oil of any kind.
