I use hi-vis line every scenario except bedding redears and bluegills. I use clear mono then.
I've used mono and vanish up til now. I'm thinking of trying the hi vis yellow CrappieMaxx. Do you all use it anywhere and everywhere or is there a situation where the water is too clear and will impact the bite?

I use it on all of my spider-rig and longlining rods. I like it because of just what it is HI-VIS. I am get old and can't see to well, but with this line, I can work with my rods and jig with ease.
I have tried all of the different colors, but the yellow seem to be the best for me. I use CrappieMaxx because it is the cheapest one. I also like the Sufix elite, but is high priced.
Hope this helps you some.
I agree with mrdux.
They have some hi-vis line at Wally World that I like. 4lb Mr Crappie line - I buy the big spool since I snag a lot.

6lb Hi-Vis always for crappie. For other types of fishing, I use Maxima ultra green and Pline CX and CXX.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
The Crappie max and Wally Marshall are the same, I use it, just remember that it needs to be changed out every other year. It loses it know strength.
Knot!!
I would give Vicious Panfish hi-vis line a little better rating than Mr C or C-Maxx line. It's a copolymer line, and it's pretty tough. Just my opinion, and worth every penny you paid for it

It's great line for the price! It's on all my longlining rods.
Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!
