I got to fish about 4 hours this morning before going to work. It was a pretty good day. It was a little slower than it has been but wound up with about 25 keepers. The fish were nice and fat guess they been eating good. I would like to thank all the veterans out there for their service that gives me the freedom to fish on a beautiful day like today! God Bless you all! I was Tightlining minnows in 18' to 22' of water.

Nice catch! We fished for a few hours at Ferrington, along with about twenty-five other boats. We didn't get a bite, but, others brought a few in. One lady fishing from the back of her boat brought in some huge fish. She said they wound up with thirty. Saw a lot of gill hooked shorts floating on the surface. Sad. I was surprised to see a lot of fish in such shallow water.
