Slackline is offering a hand made knife for our benefit auction .

Slackline's knife will be a quality gift to give someone . A hand forged hunting/all purpose fixed blade knife ..His knives have have been in Blade Magazine, Knives Illustrated Magazine, Knives Annual 2014,2015, and 2016. It will have a leather sheath made for it by professional leather crafter David Seward. The knife would have to have a January delivery date though.

I have one of his knives . It is a fillet knife and workmanship is awsome . Here is the post when he gave me the knife with photos this summer . He posted photos of his work on this thread .

I hand forge my knives from top quality, new Cutlery steels. The steel is not recycled or re-purposed. I personally heat treat and test each knife to make sure it will last a lifetime.
The knife I will make for this auction will be similar to this one.


On this style of knife, full tang, I taper the tang to balance the weight of the Knife. This feature ads an element to the knife that is only available on quality knives.

I sincerely hope we can make a difference to help ease the financial burden this illness has caused. Please help and keep the prayers coming.

I am going to bump this in hopes of getting some bids to help a family in need. I will sweeten the deal too. If this knife gets bid up to $200.00 or more I will let the winner get David to do some fancy tooling or customizing on the sheath up to $100.00 cost on my dime.
