Fruit Jar

Always wondered what a Fruit Jar tournament was. One of my buddies just attended one in Florida and we still don't know.
How did that term come about???

Money goes in a jar and usually winner takes all. Believe it started with mason jars as they were readily available.

It's a local tournament, usually among friends, that put money in a pot (fruit jar). The best catches wins.
