    Usually gigged. We catch them on crawlers. Like the small ones the best. We skin them and then score them down to the backbone. Fry until crispy. A lot of people scale them and leave skin on. I do not like the skin on any fish. Want mine naked. The skin can give fish a strong off flavor.

    Redhorse, white suckers, hog suckers and a couple more different kinds. Boney and have to be scored close and fried well to be edible. But taste good. https://huntfish.mdc.mo.gov/fishing/species/suckers
