Default Good article of Fall Fishing

If you are like me, many times I read an article about fishing and find I didn't know much more than before I read it. This is one from F&S magazine that touched on several fall methods and I thought was well written. Hope you find it informative as well:

Anyone know why the link sometimes has that "403 Forbidden" title even thought the link works????

competitor to crappie.com maybe? They can't advertise or post about other fishing sites unless they sponsor I think. But the link works for me...

It is an article in Field and Stream magazine. Didn't mean to violate any rules.

    No Crappie.com rules violated .... Field & Stream isn't a competing site.

However ... the contents of the site you linked is copyright protected ... and states :

"Reproduction in whole or in part without permission is prohibited"
rerights reserved. Reproduction in whole or in part without permission is prohibited.

.... so that may be the reason for the 403/Forbidden designation

I will confer with the Admin. group as to whether or not this thread should stay open or be deleted. In the meantime ... use the link to read the article (while you can).

Couple things. Like pappy says, linking to other sites is fine, just as long as it is not a fishing forum.

and why it says forbidden in the link, well I think in this case it's because of the pop up ad that comes up before the actual page. Our site try's to use the title of the linked to page for the link text, but this one actually shows an ad first which throws it all off.

Admin consensus is ..... valid post, no rules violated, linking to a non-competitive site is fine ... whereas copying part or all of a copyrighted article is not !!

This thread is open for viewing/discussion ....
