Default Avoiding the wind on Truman...

Heading out tomorrow for my first trip on the lake, and I'm wondering where the best launch is. Since I'm in Clinton, I'm thinking of either Sparrowfoot or Bucksaw. With today's wind, I'm wondering about which area would be the most protected.

As this is my first trip, I'll probably spend some time trolling to get a feel for the lake and see if I can run into a walleye or two before I start looking for crappies. From what I've seen, Sparrowfoot might be a bit rougher if the wind stays up, but I don't have a good feel for Bucksaw as a place where I can drag crankbaits around for a bit. Which launch would be better?

    Thanks.
