    Default Neely henry crappie update

Hi guys, New member here. Crappie update been shooting docks in morning averaging 10 -12 3/4 - 1 1/4 lb. Evening about the same . Been catching more sitting on the dock with minnows around 10 pm . Talked to a older gentleman this afternoon at a dock I shoot he said same thing, his kids caught 25 2 nights ago on minnows and he caught 15 that next morning with the left over minnows. Going to take Dick out bass fishing in the morning, come to find out his wife doesn't wanted him out alone so I figured I'd take him out and see if I can put.him on some bass. Ill post bass bass report tomorrow.

Welcome from Alabama. I saw your post today. At Neely Henry which dock are you able to sit on and fish? If you don't mind please share or PM the directions with this 71 yr Old Man. All I saw at Neely were three pools of water that had steep rocky banks and snakes in them. Not my cup of tea for bank fishing. I need flat areas for my bad ankles and the grandchildren.

Welcome from Guntersville, Alabama! Thanks for the report. Haven't fished Neely in a while. Hard to leave the Big G when you live so close.

Hey Ship, the docks he is talking about are most likely privately owned. I do not know of any public docks to fish off of except the ones at Rainbow Landing at the Hwy 77 bridge launch, at the Ala Power launch by the dam and the public dock at Canoe
Creek. Hope this helps. Be safe and give us a report if you get to go.
