Default the way the bite is ......

    I couldn't help myself , I had to do a follow up 2 hour trip yesterday ...
and as before they were flat out hammering jigs .....
the other bud wanted some so we boxed a few for him this trip
man oh man is there a bite here locally ...stay tuned I will be on the dock and banks later this week
hammered 2 back to back biggunz in the river yesterday at lunch break ....
hit the lake with my same buds in the same rig as Friday ....
used a few hand ties yesterday for grins as well ,,,,,and some plastics as well
hope you enjoy the photos and information ...
4 foot of water to 16 foot of water and we only tried 4 spots
1/32 to 1/8 jigs were dropped and or pitched ...
all the spots we hit held fish in the nice size range

The fish have been on fire here locally also, getting more shallow and more aggressive as the days go by. Sunday evening I got into a mess and caught 35-40 in one spot once I figured out they were only 3' deep, I had been fishing under them. Kept 7 for the dinner this week and just had fun with the rest. Water is cooling down fast.

You certainly have outstanding fishing waters there in Texas. Hard to beat that anywhere in the country. Wish our waters had that kind of quality and quantity. They are far & few between in our neck of the woods I'm afraid. Great post!

We are blessed with some fantastic spots to fish for sure . I have had the opportunity over the years to visit a lot of spots in and around the USA and I never get tired of coming back to Texas to ketch fish .Thanks for the kind words
