    Thumbs up Spawn Survival

I would think that crappie and gills would have to have a very high hatchling survival rate for the liberal limits here in LA. Does anybody know how many eggs the females will lay during the spawn and the survival rate? THanks!!

I read somewhere that both species of crappie have been known to produce 100,000 eggs or more...as far as survival rate - well I guess that depends on mother nature.
