very nice
It's been a great year of crappie fishing on Brownlee Reservoir in E. Oregon. We're still catching them but it's getting colder and there is not much interest here in Fall fishing. Hunting takes over and many won't make the long drive over gambling on the weather. These guys always book a trip in early October and we always do well. Under the crappie is a layer of nice bluegill over a layer of crappie on the bottom. Chartreuse tubes with a white nibble worked well this trip. Our crappie are currently on an up cycle. Since May I've filleted just over 7000 crappie for clients.
