    Default It's official: Bass Pro is buying Cabela's.


    Bass Pro Shops has reached a deal to acquire outdoors retail competitor Cabela's and take the company private in a deal valued at $5.5 billion, the companies said Monday.

    won't make a lot of difference to me most of their prices are too high anyway. this will effectively limit some competition and that usually means higher costs

    I hope U be rite. I only have 1 credit card, Cabelas. They know my spending habits and call me if they suspect something suspicious. I had my credit froze many years ago. Don't need credit, but occasionally need credit card. I don't trust debit cards. The only thing I trust about a bank is the lock boxes.

    Great. Another great store will be taken down the sewer. Maybe if Johnny Morris could have won a couple tournaments years ago he would be content and quit messing things up.
