No, they look good enough to get some though.
Just bought some of these. Anybody have experience/report on them?

I'd be interested in your report. I like the idea of protecting the hook while storing the rods.

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
I attached 3 of them today to rods that I have always wished had hook holders. These things are great. They have a thin thin and long tab that fit between the reel foot and seat. They have a notch for the front end of the foot to slip into. The fat hook holder is wonderful. It has two methods to hold line, or hook/lure. The holder is hollow to allow the point of the hook to go into and keep the point covered. Since it is hollow, you can also attach your snap to it. Then it has a concave profile at the back to hold looped loose line after lure removal. They seem to me to be much more useful than the stock hook keeper built onto the rod. I really like them :
Good report, thank you. Longevity wise, how do you think they'll be?
