    Default Road runner pro series

Does anyone have a source or know where I can get my hands on pro series road runners in 1/16th oz with a Colorado blade instead of the willow leaf blade? I'm talkin bout the ones with the #2 hook instead of the small #4 hook in case someone doesn't know what I'm talkin about. Thanks guys.

Have you considered switching blades between the two types ?? Or simply purchasing blades and switching them out with the willow leaf blades ??

That's actually what I have done lately. It's not hard to do, it's just a convenience thing, plus I'll have a bunch of roadrunner heads with no blades lying around. I'm just trying to see if there is another option out there. I'm not having any trouble catching fish with the smaller hooks on the 1/16 oz heads, but I would really like to have a little more hook exposure, especially when I want to use larger plastics.

Some may wonder why I don't just step up to an 1/8th oz roadrunner for the larger hook. The answer is confidence. I'm confident in where my bait is and what speed I need to retrieve it to keep it at the right depth when I'm using 1/16 oz.

I'm talking about counting the jig down when I'm casting and retrieving it mainly. I haven't long lined with them enough to know exactly where they run.

    A 1/16th oz at 1.3mph on a good cast will run 3-4'.
