    Default Steeper banks today

Wyatt and I took out of Bucksaw heading up river, about 2miles in to our ride the motor alarm starts going off. Motor is still pumping out water and has plenty of oil so we shut it down and fish the bluff bank back to Bucksaw. Caught fish in 15 to 25 foot of water down 10 to 12 feet. Wyatt had a blast cast a shallow set float to the bank catching perch and small bass.
Even with the motor issue it turned out to be a fun few hours of fishing.

Made a good day out of it. Hope it's a simple fix on the moyor
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Two miles is nothing to use the trolling motor on. Dexter and I did the five miles twice. Nice fish Wyatt. Make sure to check your oil tank sensor, I think I remember Hogster having that problem.

Nice catch. Our alarm didn't go off but water pump isn't working right. Small stream and sporadic. Off to shop Monday.

Can't complain about the times out with Double D. We had a lot of good time on the water and off the water.
