I like that idea and know a guy who has a foundry in his back yard. I got some scrap aluminum, we may come up with something. On second thought, I have some scrap aluminum 1" thick plate that may work too. Wheels are turning.
Found these today from the underside of a particle board desk, used to contain the myriad of wires that go with an office desk. Made of plastic, I can only imagine the kind of rod storage we could come up with, especially if they were made out of metal. Just some food for thought......Skeet

Aluminum is what I had in mind. I haven't cast anything since school about a hundred years ago. My wheels turning too, but there's a lot of other stuff keeping my free time filled up.
