Testing a new Crappie.com Search tool, check it out...

I'm testing out a new search tool we can use here on Crappie.com. It's implemented right now and I'd like to know whether or not we should keep it around.

And here are some additional ways you can use it that might help.

user:“Cane Pole”	Searches for posts by user “threadloom” Quotes needed only if the username isn’t a single word
before:2010-12-31	Searches for posts before Dec. 31, 2010
after:2014-01-01	Searches for posts after Jan. 1, 2014

Seems easy but does not let you break it down to threads or posts.

Much better imo.....Doesnt revert back to the first page of search results after clicking on a thread like the old one that was pretty irritating...

Yep, advanced search is still there. There's a link where you can get to it that says "Standard Search". Underneith the search icon (magnifying glass).

But they're continuing to make impeovements to this new Threadloom one all the time. So that's kinda cool, I think we'll like it.
