    Default Finding Local Maps

Just wanted to let you folks know that I found a map of a local lake (Bradenton, Fl) that nobody seemed to be able to help me with........at the County Library. Just another good source of info. In addition, each state has (or should have) a link to an online "Ask a Librarian" site for your location. Here's the link I used in Florida........y'all try it in your area.

Around here, you can find a book that has all of the lakes in Southern Illinois on topographical maps for about $20 at Walmart. I would bet they have them for most areas at Walmart.

I don't believe terreserver has lake depths type topographical maps but it has been a while since I was on that site. The maps I bought at Wallyworld had the various depths marked. I believe they would be highly beneficial in new lakes or new areas of lakes you have fished before.
