Sat Fishing Trip

I went fishing Sat and the Crappie weren't biting but the bass were. I caught this 23" Bass (8-9lbs) on my 7' Ultra Light rod with 4lb test Wally Marshall Hi-Viz line on a 1/16oz chartreuse Road Runner with a black and chartreuse Wally Marshall Joker on it. Think how big I could have made it look if I had put my arms out straight! :-))))))) She was released.

Took about 10 min to tire her out, lucky there wasn't a lot of cover she could get to and break me off.

Nice fish. I had the same problem on Saturday but was not lucky enough to catch anything.

Excellent fish indeed! It's amazing what you can catch on light tackle.
