All our fishing right now is long-lining. We're able to cover a good bit of ground and find the fish.
I usually crappie fish winter and spring and long lining is my favorite way to fish. Anyone do that much this time of year?
Usually fish Badin or Tillery. Most of my summer crappie fishing has been at night but family situation right now doesn't work too well for that.

Thanks! Any particular depths you target? I usually have had my best luck in 20-30 feet in major creeks or creek mouths but that's my winter and spring pattern.
Summertime fish will typically suspend and not be nearly as deep as you're describing. In most lakes 10-20' deep ,with 15' probably being the sweet spot.

Yeah I'm usually fishing in 20-30 ft of water with fish suspended around 10-15. Guess it's about the same as I usually do. Just got to find them!
Look at my post from last Saturday night and you will see the screenshots of where I am fishing. You'll see the fish as well.
