    They are great socks. However, just remember, if/when you order those, to make sure you get a size or two larger than what you think you'll need! Even if the specs say different. Get a bigger one. Or you will be disappointed. Even better approach would be to get two. JMO!

    That is what I use them for. When the wind gets up I have found rather than fight it with trolling motor, just pull socks, roll up poles and fire up big motor. Run back up wind past where I want to start, throw out socks, drop rods then still use terrova to keep boat on course. I have 2 46's and a 66. I'll run the small ones off the side then if it's real bad I'll run big one off the back. If I was doing it over I would have 2 66's for my 17 ft boat.
