Default Hook organizer and cheap too

Read about this in a local outdoors magazine. Interesting and cheap organizer. Gonna try it out.
Nothing is crappier than the cheap plastic hook containers from Wal Mart.

Someone posted that on here a few months ago. Pretty neat.

I tried that last year, worked okay at first. In the end moisture in the plano box started rusting up the hooks. Now I keep them in tiny zip lock bags I got at Michael's Crafts store. I mark on the bags the brand of hooks and the size. Works good for me.

I never throw away any of those small zip bags that skirts come in. I even keep all the little containers that diabetic test strips come in and put jig heads and hooks in them. They are great for putting in your pocket. Have them for different jig or hook colors and sizes. Better than going to the tackle box every time. And since they are closed it provides protection from those nasty finger sticks.

I saw that same idea and it works. Much less of a chance of hooking yourself too.

Worst part about loose hooks is their ability to hook each other thru their own eye. Ima too old to deal with the aggravation. Some members here knows what I mean.

I have tried small zip lock bags, but they are too aggravating to open and close.

Worse comes to worse, you always have a safety pin to fix your depends if the need arises.

Being one of those old decrepit seniors I would stick myself with the so called safety pin or put 20 hooks in the palm of my hand all at one time.

Searay posted about that a while back. That's what I did after seeing his post, did the same thing with swivels, etc. Works nicely.
