First time out in a while

Took a short trip to Bucksaw Friday morning with Kim. Put in at first light and went down below the cut. Had enough for supper with a small channel cat so not a total waste. Dipped trees with jigs tipped with minnows to start but ended up just using a 2 inch black and chartreuse jig at the end. Best bite was in 6-10 fow and just drop it down and let it set. They hit hard but you had to leave it there for a while. Sorry nothing worth a picture but still a nice day. Off the water before noon.
Nice to see a lot of CDC members at the ramp.
