    Default Crappie baiting

Can anyone tell me how long I have to wait after using dog food to attract crappie on my beds?

The dog food should attract shad if you have any shad nearby to find it....the crappie will feed on the shad then....problem is....the catfish are going to eat it up.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

you might want to try oatmeal or possibly alfalfa ....you want baitfish to come in ....
of course sometimes baiting will bring other fish as well ....

Make sure it's something that will last. Hate to only get a year or two out of some of the brushpiles that break down
