Fished clinton yesterday for a couple of hours. Tried a bunch of new spots looking for fish to no avail. I could mark them but no takers from the marks. Finally went back to where I know they where biting and caught fish pretty solid for an hour and a half. Ended up cleaning 11 nice fish before I went and chased the wipers which didn't show up. Did watch a guy from NE in jet boat go chasing surfacing fish and drive into the middle of the few that did come up… some of the worst display of taking kids fishing I have seen, some people don't get it. 5 or 6 kids running full speed into the birds scattering them. Then 10 seconds later off again since the fish didn't stay up…

Caught crappie in 11 to 16 ft of water in brush on a minnow. No standing timber bite for me.
