took my gf and daughter to wap on saturday for the day. got to lake around 11am and dropped them off on the bank for about an hr and a half. i had already decided to try my hand at fishing so i rigged up 6 poles, 4 with roadrunners and 2 with just regular jig heads. put minnows on all 6 and started letting the wind push me across a big flat. caught about a dozen between 1115-1245 only 2 keepers one fish about a pound the other barely over 9". turned them all back just wanted to give it a shot since its been a few months. party boats were out pretty thick at this point but i think i coulda done fairly well had i been there early. 2 keepers came off roadrunners but overall it didn't seem to matter the regular heads caught just as many. best bite seemed to b in 12-16fow 4-6 feet down
