Has anyone heard of using PREPARATION H for fishing?

I saw this unusual use of preparation H and felt on a website and wondered if any of you who are smarter them me ever heard of it. To be honest I never heard of it. The use of a small piece of felt is intriguing but what about that Preparation H????? Wouldn't that mess up something in your own body if you ate the fish that ate the preparation H?????

I might just use the eye dropper to put "Gulp" or something on the felt. What are your thoughts?

Yes I heard of it at a crappie seminar a few years back- crappie tournament team used it a lot - no mention of a felt pad- applied directly to whatever plastic lure they were using- urged you not to get it on your carpet though

i think i have to pass on having that in my tackle ....but for sure i got a laugh from it ......i can just see someone saying so what are you using ? LOL

I have used some of those scent's bass fishing that were worse than that. If nothing else it could work as a coverup for scent's from your hands. Ship it wouldn't hurt you because if you caught a fish he would be cleaned and in the fridge before that tiny amount could get absorbed.

I think people have tried everything to find the best baits for fishing. I have used all kinds of stuff while crappie and catfishing. Anise oil, rhodium oil, dewees, asafetida, WD40,cod liver oil,vanilla flavor, you name it and the list goes on and on just to name a few. Now they come up with preparation H. Well looks like I will have to give it a try also.

Heard about using Preparation H as an attractant several years back while attending a
salmon seminar, just about the time we started using meat rigs on Lk. Michigan for
king salmon. Never had the nerve to try it, but it can't be any worse than some of
the herring strips dipped in oil that are used up here! Tight Lines - Dave
