It will be awesome to have one trolling motor for dipping and rigging. No more dealing with quick release brackets and having the upkeep of two trolling motors and switching back and forth. Its not cheap but will still beat buying two trolling motors.

I am waiting till they come out with one that has a built in ducer that does si and di. Just do not want to be looking at back of boat if I linked.

You may be waiting a VERY LONG time for this. The SI and DI transducers are much more sensitive to interference than the 2D Sonar transducers are. Minn Kota has tried doing built in DI transducers without success- there is just too much interference from the motor.

Possible solutions are 1. Mount a SI or DI transducer externally to your motor. I don't like putting the SI transducer on the motor because the imaging can get wonky when articulating/steering the motor, but a lot of guys run SI pucks on their motor. Using a Transucer Shield and Saver helps protect the transducer from bumps/collisions. 2. Use a Trolling Motor 360 unit for your DI/SI puck. Though costly, the 360 offers some awesome benefits.

I'm not sure I would wait around for something that may NEVER come to fruition.

I think a 360 with that new Trolling motor would run 4000$ !!
