When people build crappie pvc structure like below..do you use a pvc glue to hold the horizontal pieces in or some other method? Thanks for any tips/help

So drill a hole in horzontal piece and vertical piece and zip tie each other together?

No I put a zip tie on each side of the horizontal piece.
Ok. Just to stop the horizontal piece from sliding out prettt much? Im not following how the ziptie only thru the horizontal piece holds it in?

Ok, I try to drill the holes in vertical piece as close as possible to size of pipe for the horizontal piece, then I put a zip tie around the pipe on each side of the horizontal piece close to where it goes through the vertical piece, hopefully the added diameter of the zip tie and the square part of the tie will keep the pipe from sliding out of the vertical piece. Hopefully that explains it a little better.

What he said. Try to make sure the square is on the bottom as best you can so it doesn't grab a jig that is sliding around the piece. Nice structure. Drop a couple of brushpiles nearby and it will work a bit better. I made a few like those and caught fish off of them in a few weeks, and they worked better after the brush was dropped about 15' away.

I was able to find a whole bunch of self tapping screws at Lowe's that were on clearance, put one on each side as i slid the pipe through to keep the pipe from coming out. Also put a couple in the bottom of the "trunk" to help secure it in the concrete
