Pen fishing rod and reel
Got my pen reel and rod in today. Anybody use one or are they just a novelty. I can see where it would be good on the go, I just don't know what lures would be best jigs, rooster tails?

It's about 36" rod bale type reel not sure on line it came pre spooled and have not messed with it. Looks to be about 2-4# test line

That is one small (short) rod you have there! I don't see why it won't do a lot catchin' for you though. Try tossing some Roadrunners and you won't go wrong.
