Default Best bet for loz in the summer?

I usually dip trees on Truman this time of year but I have a buddy that has a place on loz and asked me to come down and take him fishing. I know a lot of people pull cranks this time of year but can the docks still be productive? What colors work good? Any info would be appreciated!

Pretty much all I do in the summer for crappie is night fish with a light and minnows, and pull cranks

pull cranks is a good option during the day. Under 2mph seems to be the ticket right now. Variety of colors. Some sunny days, natural colors, other days as bright and wild as you can find. Bandits and Flicker Shad are my go to cranks, but I'll use wiggle warts and hot-n-tots from time to time with success. Right now its probable the best bet for a variety of types of fish.
First couple of hours of the morning and the last hour of the day, shoot docks. 16oz blue ice has been the most consistant for me on bright days. Cloudy days the ol standard black/chart. Lately they've been more in the stalls than under the swim docks.

Deep brush (12-20') has been dink city for me. But others around me (with more patience than me) have been doing good on those brush piles with minnows.

Good Luck and let us know how you did!
