Rush 12 backpack from 5.11 Tactical. It has over 600 reviews on Amazon. Loads of YouTube videos, too.
I seem to go through one about every three years. I know I'm pretty rough on them I do all my fishing from the bank and carry a lot of gear. biggest problem I've had with all of the past packs is the zipper failure. I just cannot seem to find a good one with GOOD ZIPPERS wonder if anyone here has some suggestions , looking again for a new one. I don't mind spending the money if its worth it.

Good zipper? Nobody uses a good zipper any more, thats the problem with a lot of the hunting clothes, the zipper!

1 dollar pencil holders work well , unless you carry the kitchen ketchn sink with ya ....just add a spring hinged c clip and hook 3 for a dollar and hook it to a belt loop on your backside so it does not impede forward progress and or interfere with ketchn fish ....simplicity and low priced is best for me
plus you can replace them often and still be out nearly nada ....and the one I got 2 years ago with a zipper still aint failed .....
hek it even came in my favorite color .....camo .....LOL
and 99.9 % of the time it lays on my floor board of my truck anyway ....I pack light ...

I use a Lafuma 35l Backcountry Ski Daypack, they are hard to find. My son used it on ski patrol for 3 years and I've been using it now for 3 yrs. They can be tough to find - but Lafuma has a lot of different packs and the zippers on them are great.
Check out the Wild River Nomad...pricey but good.
Regards
I like the browning fishing bag from bass pro... I felt it was to big at first but it's nice to have a place for a rain jacket... I looked at the wild river packs and I liked the looks of them but the price was a deciding factor... The bag I have is white gray and green which I don't like much but it's a great bag
If you will buy a backpack from Deluthpak, you will never have to buy another one. They are expensive but are made with brass rivers and heavy duty metal zippers or leather straps and brass buckles. I doubt you could ever wear one out but they will fix it if you do.
