Default Day trip to the Altamha River.

My Dad and I went to the Altamaha on 6/18/2016 we left Dublin at around 4:45 Saturday morning and got down there at around 7:00. We fished all day and ended up having the best day we have ever had on the Altamaha we kept 83 fish and probably caught over 200. We had to go back and fill the cricket cages, we almost fished 300 crickets in one day. we weighted only one of the fish and he came in at 15oz but I am sure we had some that were bigger than him. All in all it was a great fathers day weekend spent with my Dad to do something we both love and that is to catch them big copperhead bluegill.

We had similar numbers. 76 keepers with 250+ fish caught. The gill and redbreast bite was good, just had to wade through a bunch of small fish. We went through 7 cups of big reds and had 11 crickets left out of 300.

We talked to you briefly. We were in the grey war eagle.

I am trying to recall you we had several people speak. We had a good time with the fly rods if you have never done it you should try it.

We were down at the entrance to the swamp on the right hand side. We had found a red breast bed, but it only held small fish.
