    Default Glass boat for crappie?

I am in a fish and ski Procraft that has served me well. I am wanting to spider rig in a new boat. I have looked at nearly every aluminum boat that is made for this style of fishing. Does anyone make a glass boat set up for spider rigging? Everything I have seen is made more for bass fishing than crappie.

Depending on your budget but the ranger fishermen line of boats is hard to beat but they are high.

Triton makes a Crappie specific boat. Though, any of the fiberglass boats can be rigged for crappie. I am not wild about the aluminum prerigged crappie boats and they are far too pricey for what you get.

Most any boat can be set up to spider rig. The older Ranger 522 bass boat are prized by serious riggers as they sit very low in the water, are heavy and not affected by wind as much as most boats. I have a Ranger bay center console that is a great all around fishing platform.

We fish out of a 2006 Ranger 619 Fisherman. It checked off all the boxes on we felt was most important in a crappie boat for us. We've rigged it to suit our needs for spider rigging, pulling cranks, long lining, etc.
