    Default Smithville 6-11

Fished a row of trees about 18', marked a lot of fish, but they were tight lipped. Managed to get 6 keepers and caught about 10 at 8". Minnows seemed to work better than jigs today. They are still letting out a lot of water, hope they shut that down soon. Water temp 79, nice morning on the water.Name: 0611161337.jpg

    Good report for the conditions

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

Nice job. I always have a hard time catching when they are dumping water that quick. Dropping about 6" a day. Fishing should get better when it levels off.

Thanks for the report. I was hoping for some reports from The Ville since I haven't heard any since the spawn.

Been a long time since anyone posted they were catching any crappies. Even Burton's hasn't been posting reports. Glad to hear you got into a few.
