    Default trolling motor for 16' pontoon


    Just wanted to get a few opinions on thrust, 12 v 24, and shaft length. Buddy of mine is getting a new motor for his toon and is kind of confused. Boat is 16' with a 50 horse 'rude if I remember correctly. Whatcha think?

    The biggest variable speed 24 vt he can afford. Those pontoons catch a lot of air! :D
