Whats it weight

Caught this Slap at my local pond. Probably my PB and was fat. Unfortunately I left my scale and ruler in my boat. For sure it was 2lb since i've caught 2lb crappie before. What do you think it weighs?

Hard to judge without good photo with something of known size in photo .

Try keeping the fish a bit closer to your body next time. Extending the arms out toward the camera makes it very difficult to judge. Regardless, that's a really pig! Congrats!

black crappie tend to weigh in heavier per inch of length compared to white crappie . I would venture a guess at 2 plus maybe ? a nice fish no matter what it weighed for sure . And in the end weights only matter in competitive or record setting endeavors anyway my friend
