Default Modding my Fishing Ship aka Pondtoon

Actually, I modified the EZ Poleholder. Three positions were too much, so I used som scrap 2 inch x 1/4 inch stock and made me a two pole holder using the parts from the three pole holder. The bar is a little wider than the original, but the price was free. Now, I can go 2 or 3 by changing the parts. I doubt I will ever use 3 positions again.

I also made an Ipilot holder. I modified an old ram mount I had from the HP Ipaq days. Works fine. The problem was to overcome the odd shape of the remote and keep the remote secure.

I hate anything hanging around mt neck.

My auto deploy of Rickie"s daducer apparatus works great. Nothing better than sitting on your butt and pushing a button and make things happen. Actually, I built this for my safety.

I will make a short vid of the daducer and the Ulterra on a simultaneous deploy one day. Pretty cool stuff.

Good mods Tom . I use the Hi-Tek holders and during the winter I jigged with 1 rod in each hand. Problem was the fish came on say the left hand, what to do with the one in the right. Even a 2 pole holder got in the way sometimes. I made a plate to hold just one holder on each side to cover my needs. Did trick just fine. Come warmer weather I would reconfigure for what I was doing then, mostly 4 pole setups.
You, my friend, have the ride. I could just sit and watch it all work for at least a couple of hours. Thanks for sharing it with us unskilled folks.

Tim, I wouldn't call any fisherman unskilled. I have seen some amazing stuff brought to life here on CC. My tool box is just filled with different tools than most folks, that's all.
