Cheney boat ramp is very entertaining, many boats are Coors powered!
I'll be at Clinton his crazy weekend. I'm looking forward to the comedy show at the marina boat ramp as the weekend warriors are putting their boats in the lake for the firs time this year and the rookies trying to back their trailers into the lake.
Not looking forward to all the pleasure boaters that think they own the lake.
If you see my pontoon with an aluminum roof on the lake or on the north side of the marina stop by and say hey.

Ought to have a nice chop for the walleyes regardless of wind!
What do you think the water level will be after all this rain? Is it high now?
It was like 4' or high when I checked the other day. It's definitely going to go up!

Been here at clinton since friday the lake is 8-9' high corps has pulled the docks out and couple of ramps are completely underwater. Not sure how anyone's doing all we managed was one small walleye today. Pretty windy..
Haven't been to Truman in a while, but we always count the trailers at the side of the road with flat tires or frozen axle bearings on this weekend. Agree, the ramps are a hoot to watch!

Got some new lights for the boat. Launched into Clinton round 830pm. Crowd was basically gone. Was on fish quick. Missed a couple before dark. Totally lost the fish after dark. Left around 1am. First time I been shut out at Clinton this year. High. Lots of debris.
