Default Red Ear fish in LOZ ?

I'm almost positive I have a couple large red ear sunfish bedding on the backside of my dock at LOZ.

Has anyone else seen this fish in the lake ?

I've targeted this fish before in other lakes but was very tough to do, even with a large population.

Anyways does anyone have first hand info about this fish in LOZ?

I caught a few red ears this weekend. One was really big, 12 +". Unfortunately I caught them in my throw net while looking for shad, so they are still there. They were on beds, too.

Yes, I heard from biologist down there he was sampling lots of redears this year. The key to catching them is small baits. They have a smaller mouth than bluegill. Use a small hook with less than 1/2" of worm and you'll catch them.
