If I don't get bit in 30 minutes, I am moving. That is as long as I will wait.
How long do you fish without a bite before you start making changes?
What are some of the first things you change; Colors, Baits, Depth, Speed, Location or something else?

long enough for the jig to go to what ever depth I think the fish are holding at and come back up and were moving.to many Hungery fish to wait on the ones that aint!
A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw
The fish only get one chance as I go by. If something hits, I make another pass, and another, and another till they quit. I never quit unless they tell me to.

Maybe a couple three cast
I normally carry a jig pole with an 1/8 oz. jig . I also carry a pole with a 1/32 oz. jig pretty much the same color . After trying both I will move on .this usually is about 15 min . This is while fishing deep brush . During the spawn I will never stop unless Getting bit quick . I fished years with 1/8 oz. jigs about 95% of the time , now I always have a 1`/32 on 4lb. test handy . Actually A bobby garland baby shad(patriot) is my starting point on deep brush . A crappie logic red head, black wrap with a chartreuse any where else .I single pole fish mostly but will put a little of everything, usually combo colors( light/dark ) while spider rigging .

My pops ole saying holds true for me. 5 fish in 5 minutes or carry on.
Cane pole is right on. That's the way I do it also I also. I have some small buoys (I make these very small wooden buoys on a lathe myself) I throw out and make another pass or two and sometimes I even leave the area and come back by there later in the day. I sometimes troll very slow but I don't stop I just keep moving all the time.
Be safe and good luck fishing
What Cane Pole and Scrat said but we are probably using a different technique, always moving till we find fish
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
if the graph says there is a herd of fish and they are large marks ....I vary my depth and speed of the presentation ....I may also pitch it and let it swing down to them or by them . or even drag it by them under a float if I can set the depth accordingly .
next I change colors and sizes up to make sure I don't have that wrong and sometimes they wont take a jig in the spots we hit unless it has a crappie nibble on it.
if I still cant get bit after a few minutes ...say 10 or so ......I pack up and try elsewhere
if the graph says they aint no fish on a good spot I wont stop for more than a minute or so and that's only an act of desperation in most cases anyway ....
some spots I hit you cant graph with what I have on board so sometimes I pitch whatever just to make sure ....
I typically don't hang a long time if am in my boat and I aint getting bit , but I have more patience when I am on the bank and blind to what may or may not be there
