Mixed Bag ....

hit a local spot close to home . the fish were mostly small white crappie with an assortment of this and that mixed in .all the fish were hugging the bottom in most of the spots we hit . a few larger crappie were guest stars in this episode but the one that got away made my day .....
i had a real nice black crappie on the surface and lost it ....
my bud just looks at me and says Thanks alot Ketchn ...
and i was like what ? ....
and he says now my kids are gunna go hungry !

Great mixed bag!

Last two trips I have made have ended up with a drum to. Caught 36 crappie yesterday and one drum, hooked something BIG that I saw roll then jig came out(bummer)!
