    Default Propane tank vs finger

So yesterday morning I go to work where I drive a forklift. Clock in go out to lift inspections and one of the lifts is out of fuel. I take tank off go to cage to get new one. When I go to put the new one on the dock before I go back inside. The tank falls smashing my finger right above base of finger nail. Needless to say my finger is broken vertically and horizontally. Also lacerated most of the way threw finger. Needless to say I'm lucky I didn't lost the tip of my finger.

So for the next few weeks my fishing is done for. Hopefully after they remove the stitches I can get back to fishing. I probably could now but worried about getting cut dirty. And trying to remove hooks from fish. I don't have much grip strength in left hand right now.

So be careful everyone or you'll be sitting on the sidelines on 68 degree sunny days.

They oughta make square square tanks. Square don't roll much.

I've smashed mine a couple of times when I worked construction and warehouse. No fun and makes doing everyday things a mess. To keep it dry pick up a box of Nexcare waterproof bandages. They do a super job for me. Feel better soon.

Good tip on on those waterproof bandages. Doing mechanic work you get cuts all the time, but also wash your hands constantly. I was putting on what felt like 20 bandages a day when I had a cut till I found those. The outside is slick too and doesn't fray like fabric ones.
