I think the spawn is already running late. What you guys think? Have to read up on this. Temps in the 30's tonight

Think positive. It's only May 14th. Couple of days of warm weather and all heck will break loose. I had 70-71 degree surface temp Friday and some are spawning now in bigger lakes. Lots have spawned in smaller waters. I even have cleaned gills that are ready to explode. Crappies in East fork of White River are full of eggs also. Full moon next Sat.

Fished Missy today. 1 fish all day near the banks. Cold front deffinitely moved them. They are running late i agree. Except for a 2 week period earlier this spring it has been pretty cool temp wise. The 1 fish we got today was a male and was just barely starting to turn.

Fishing near the banks was your problem. We caught around 40 on Saturday with the wind blowing a gale all day long. They are suspended about 10-12' deep in 12-20' FOW.

I agree, but do not have a boat so am pretty limited in that regard. Was catching fish near the banks before the front though. Am going to try again on thursday hopefully they have moved back in.
